HOW TO REACH
BY FLIGHT :
You may Fly to the Nearest Airport and we can arrange for a pickup.
- Kolhapur (KLH) Airport is 75 kms.
- Belgaum (IXG) Airport is 186 kms.
- *Upcoming Airport at Ratnagiri is 66 kms
BY BUS :
Take a convenient overnight private luxury sleeper bus e.g. Paulo, Neeta, Konduskar, Vaibhav (Any Online Bus Booking Portal) or Maharashtra State Transport bus (MSRTC) to reach Kolhapur on the North side. Kolhapur to Amba is additional Bus ride.
OR
Ratnagiri on the south side to reach the resort. Ratnagiri to Amba is additional Bus ride.
Some MSRTC Buses also stop at Amba-Vishalgad Bus Stop, do enquire at your local Bus Station.
Note : We can arrange Transfers from Kolhapur & Ratnagiri at an additional charge.
BY TRAIN :
Train to Karad (KRD) or Kolhapur (KOP) on Central Railway Route and take a local taxi drive to the resort.
Train to Ratnagiri (RN) on Konkan Railway Route and take a local taxi or rickshaw for drive to the resort.
The nearest railway station is Adavali (ADVI) which comes after / before Ratnagiri on Konkan Railway route is approx 35 kms to the resort, but only few trains stop here.

BY CAR :
ROUTE 1 via Pune - Satara - Karad :
We suggest you take this alternative route where in you will save 1 hour of driving time
Major Cities / Villages :
Mumbai – Pune – Satara – Karad – Mc Donalds (Narayanwadi) – Turn Right under bridge to Kale Phata – Ond – Undale – Ghogaon – Yenpe – Shendgewadi (take left turn) -Kokrud – Turukwadi – Ameni Ghat – Malkapur – Amba – Left Turn from Shri Ambeshwar High School – Resort.
You can take this same route back Home, if you are not visiting the Mahalaxmi in Kolhapur.
ROUTE 2 via Panvel - Mahad - Chiplun :
Major Cities / Villages :
Mumbai – Panvel – Pen – Mangaon – Mahad – Khed – Chiplun – Sawarde – Sangmeshwar (Take Left from Sangmeshwar Bus Stand) – Devrukh By Pass – Sakharpa Junction – Climb up Amba Ghat – lookout for Shri Ambeshwar High School on Right – take a Right turn near school, on seeing the Resort Logo Board – drive straight and you will reach The Jungle Resort Amba.
